Final Touch on Our Apacer Antenna

Assalamualaikum and hi all!
Finally, we have come to the final stage of our Apacer Antenna. As what we have mentioned in previous updates, we will do some renovation on our Apacer Antenna to make it more interesting and can have more signal reception. So, here is our final touch on our Apacer Antenna 😎.

Tadaaa!!

We have fully coated our antenna with aluminium foils and as what you can see, it looks so stunning and shimmering! It is not just the look that is stunning but also our Apacer Antenna functioned very well as a homemade antenna to get best signal for HDTV.

Here we will show how the antenna perform when it is to be connected to HDTV, and our discussion from the beginning which included cost, time, material used and many more. Let's watch this video, and we guarantee you that it will worth your 8 minutes time😍😍 !

How do you think about our Apacer Antenna after watching the video😎😎. Told yaa, it is superb and amazing hihi. So now, do you interested and considerate RM 10 to buy our Apacer Antenna?? Hihi, we are just kidding😜😜😜.

And you can click on this link πŸ‘‰ Report of Our Apacer Antenna to see our report throughout the 'manufacturing' of our Apacer Antenna.

Last but not least, this Antenna and Propagation course has taught us a lot in many terms especially teamwork, creativity, time management, making decision, understanding between group members and it took forever to list them all πŸ’• We  would like to thank each other for the teamwork that we have attained throughout this assignment process until we have reached to this point. *bro fist*. And of coursee to you, thank you for your time reading our blog since the beginning. That's all from us πŸ’•

Do pray for us to get best mark for this assignment too πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

Antenna Design and Fabrication

Assalamualaikum and hi to all.
We are recently in week 13 for our academic lecture. As what we have discussed last week, we wanted to do the finalized design for our Apacer Antenna this week. So below is the progress for this week activities which we make the antenna more stable in which we tighten the attachment of the cans to the hole of the bottle by using suitable dimension of the hole at the bottle as the same as the dimension of the screw to avoid them loosely tied up.

And then, we divide the wire conductor into 2 parts, which 1 part of 2 wire conductors from 2 cans are bind together while the other part with 3 wire conductor of 3 cans. This two part of wire conductors are divided to be connected to coaxial cable.

After the antenna has completed, we try to test the antenna to the HDTV.

From the TV screen, we can see that there are many losses and noise in our antenna that given such signal result.

For this reason, we think of redesigning our antenna to get more signal reception because it might be the can's material did not receive more signal. We will coat all of our Apacer Antenna design will aluminium foil to receive more signal which aluminium has higher conductivity. Stay tuned!

Apacer Antenna Updates

Assalamualaikum and hi all.
The updates for this week Apacer Antenna project progress, we are in the phase of making the antenna by sticking the 5 cans around the plastic bottle that we have cut last week.

Then, we make the base for our antenna by using a box replacing the plywood that we planned to use in our design before. The idea of this base is to stabilize the position of our Apacer Antenna so that when we get the best signal, it can have the stable position to be placed.

Next, we went to Multimedia Lab to make the holes for our PVC pipe. The upper part of PVC pipe holes will be used to bind the 4 PVC pipes together by using a conductor wire, while the bottom part will be used to bind the PVC pipe to box sheet as in our design in Apacer Antenna Design.

Meanwhile, we are searching for suitable coaxial cable or HDTV cable to be connected to our Apacer Antenna.

In the following week, we will complete our Apacer Antenna and make the video for our presentation. We hope that our Apacer Antenna meet the Dr Alyani's requirements and get the signal successfully. That's all from us for this week. Thank you, bye!
